Into my wallet she put a snippet,
was truly wisdom, my magic ticket.
She leaves the world better before life ends,
a grandma, my wife, and teenage girlfriend.
She grew me, God knows, her work hardly done!
Yet over decades we managed some fun.
Children, grandkids, my career she conferred.
Why all that matters is because of her.
We bear the wear of decades together.
Some scars, well earned, yet no matter whether
call me biased, in sum, among women,
add it all together, rates her a “ten.”
“No argument. You’re blessed beyond the pale.
Let’s toast your wife! She’s off every scale!”
